I took some photos of my friend, Aimee, for fun the other day. I think she looks beautiful. Enjoy. SPL
This is an iheartfaces.com Fix-It-Friday session. They provide an original and then we get the opportunity to showcase our editing abilities. Here’s what I chose to do with this photo of an adorable little girl. If you get a chance or just want to procrastinate some more, got to iheartfaces.com and check out the other edits.
Enjoy. SPL
This photo needed some cropping. So, I immediately got out the crop tool.
This little girl has great eyes and I would be at a loss without Pioneer Woman’s Bring on The Eyes action. I also used her colorize action. Other than that, I played with the saturation and levels to get what I wanted. Have a great weekend.
I spent some time sifting through the hundreds of photos of my family vacation. I already posted some photos here a few weeks ago.
It’s a completely relaxing summer vacation that we’ve now enjoyed for twelve years. We have no real responsibilities; it is hard to come back to our real life.
Here are some more snaps of the time that we spent in Smith Mountain Lake, VA. You might recognize it as Lake Winnipesaukee from the 1991 film, What About Bob?

Mitchell’s Marina
Most of the area surrounding the lake is farmland. Apart for the boat trailers and the occasional bridge, you might not even know there was a lake there.

Here is something that I found on Photojojo. I am interested in trying it, but I need to find someone far away with a good dSLR. Any takers? email me.
Also, check out the cool photos of Steph Goralnick. I love ’em. Enjoy. SPL
Said “jump” in New York and LA responded, “how high?”

While they were caring for two extra kids {their nephews}, these parents decided to forge ahead with our photos.
Two parents with three adorable moving pieces {and two others running around the lawn and dock.} Kids know how to be cute, but it’s a challenge to get them to do it in unison. Here’s what we got.
Enjoy. SPL
{not always in unison}
I heart faces (dot) com has put up another fix it friday post. Here are my edits. Be sure to go to their site to see all the other entries.
Here’s the original. He’s such a cute boy and I love his eyes.
The other day, I had the occasion to drop by Little Miss Fidget’s house. She had endless energy and an appetite for direction. Miss Fidge had an idea for every shot (not always the same idea I had.) So, we tried everything several ways. Here’s our collaboration, so to speak.
You have to love her gorgeous hair; it even looks great when tousled. And you’ll see her pooh bear, who turned 40 this year. He has had a little “work” done to stay looking so good.
Enjoy. SPL
