i wish i were still there

I spent some time sifting through the hundreds of photos of my family vacation.  I already posted some photos here a few weeks ago.

It’s a completely relaxing summer vacation that we’ve now enjoyed for twelve years.  We have no real responsibilities; it is hard to come back to our real life.

Here are some more snaps of the time that we spent in Smith Mountain Lake, VA.  You might recognize it as Lake Winnipesaukee from the 1991 film, What About Bob?

Enjoy. SPL

Mitchell’s Marina

Most of the area surrounding the lake is farmland.   Apart for the boat trailers and the occasional bridge, you might not even know there was a lake there.

  1. Love the carp and splashing kids. Great shots as usual Sarah. I enjoy the specific moments you capture out of all the million moments in your days. 🙂

  2. Thanks, Lara. I love taking them and appreciating the moments over and over again.
Keep up the comments. I love the feedback!
